National Night Out is an annual event that occurs on the first Tuesday of August that brings together communities and law enforcement in an effort to make our communities safer.  The relationships that are fostered as a result of this event can help to improve understanding between law enforcement and residents about safety concerns in your community.  Working together, police and residents can have positive and inclusive discussions about topics important to everyone which can lead to the creation of action plans to address concerns with the goal of improving safety.
